concept into a design statement. This chair is characterised by its stable and  composed design. The mesh gives M5 a special light look and an uncomplicated, youthful appearance. This makes it the ideal solution for modern, dynamic working teams.

Floating seat


The silm and streamlined seatside is made of cutting foaming foam which corporates with Its appreciate thickness guarantees the seat a high degree of resilience and prevents it from deforming. The craft of unglued  is a environment friendly technology and give a strong body support for people to find the comfortable postures. Lowering of the seat at the front is particularly ergonomic.

Seat inclination adjustment 


For quick and easy adjustment of the seat angle to suit the required working posture. The backrest counter-pressure of the synchronous mechanism can be adapted to the body weight in three stages.

Adjustable lumbar support


The lumbar support is made of sponge decorated by the plastic covering.

Lumbar support with mesh and chillback can be adjusted automatically while people change their postures. The lumbar support

strengthens the back where support is needed most.

Adjustable headrest


​​The optional headrest provides relaxation

while making phone calls or during informal
conversations. It can also be supplied with
a coat hanger, if required

Something new is created when two strengths are combined.This also applies to M5 with its chillback backrest. The advantages of upholstery and mesh are combined here. The elastic multi-layer structure enables the chillback backrest to follow the contours of the body as only a mesh can. At the same time, the upholstery creates a pleasantly soft surface and provides exceptional comfort when seated.

The M5 chair was designed specifically to foster collaboration and was based on three observations that generated our key insights:

OBSERVATIONS
Collaboration takes time.
People don't adjust their chairs while collaborating.

People change postures when collaborating.


INSIGHTS
Chairs should promote movement and be comfortable for long periods of time.
Adjustments should be automatic and intuitive.

Chairs should support multiple postures.
